Acupuncture Combined with Drugs in the Treatment of Post Stroke Depression

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with drugs in the treatment of post stroke depression.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group included 30 cases and control group included 30 cases.The treatment group adopted the therapy of acupuncture combined with oral fluose fine hydrochloride,and the control group used fluose fine hydrochloride only.The two groups would be tested in terms of 17 depression items of HAMD before and after the treatment and carried out the comparison in deduction rate and curative effects.Results:After six weeks treatment,the HAMD scores of the therapy group was significantly improved.The total effective rate of the therapy group was 93.33% while the control group was 83.33%,thus there were remarkable differences between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with drugs therapy is a kind of effective method in the treatment of post stroke depression,which is worth promoting in the clinical treatment.
