An Analysis of Lexical Features of English Business Correspondence

English business correspondence plays an important role in foreign trade.In English business correspondence,the lexicon is a key aspect which can influence the effect of communication.This paper focuses on the study of lexical features of English business correspondence,the aims of the study are to find out the specific lexical features of English business correspondence exchanged in foreign trade,which is different from those face-to-face and everyday letters,and to offer some implications for the business English learners to enhance their mastery of appropriate use of the language.
