Analysis of China' s Export Trade Performance Based on 6-digit Micro Data

Using 6-digit micro trade data from UNComtrade database,this paper builds and computes a series of statistical indicators of micro-foundation from angles of export competitiveness,diversification of export products,potential for the export market,structure of export growth as well as technical level of export products,in order to carry out the empirical analysis of China' s export trade performance from 1992 to 2011.This paper confirms the tremendous achievements of China' s export trade,but also identifies many problems to be solved in the structure of China' s export trade.China must adapt to the new situation of economic globalization,accelerate the transformation of the export trade development mode,actively adjust and optimize the structure of export trade,and effectively improve the quality of export trade,and strive for an early transition from a big trading country to a strong trading power.
