Abstract

Human placental alkaline phosphatase was purified from an epithelial cell line which also synthesizes chorionic gonadotropin in vitro. The ChaGo alkaline phosphatase was immunochemically, biochemically, and functionally very similar to the alkaline phosphatase synthesized by the original tumor tissue and by normal placentas
