Abstract

The best radial growth and sporulation of the test fungus were obtained on Richard's medium followed by PDA, Oat meal agar and Czapak's dox agar medium. Least mycelial growth was recorded on case of Yeast extract glucose agar and Asthana and Hawker's agar medium. Among the different broth media, excellent dry mycelial wt. and sporulation were obtained on Richard's medium followed by Potato dextrose agar medium. Bilay ‘s medium, Yeast extract glucose medium and Asthana and Hawker's medium showed comparatively less dry mycelial wt.
