Abstract
Taboo is a popular language phenomenon, which constrains people’s language and their social behavior in daily life. Through comparison of Chinese taboo and English taboo in religion, privacy, sexy language etc., this paper is to make people understand the differ ence between Chinese taboo and English taboo, thereby improving their intercultural communication ability.
