Hydrographic Surveying and Data Processing

The automatic data processing system developed for hydrographic surveying in Sweden is explained in detail. The methods presently in use, which automatically process echogram information, will eventually be developed into a fully automated system. The kind permission of the International Hydrographic Office is acknowledged for the re-publication of material already presented in the International Hydrographic Review.
