Abstract
Next Generation Networks (NGN) have a major impact on existing communications technology whereby Telecom Operators can provide multiple services over their networks to improve their revenues. NGN allows the convergence of multiple applications to run on the same network; consisting of voice, data and video and other new media applications. In this paper, the author has discussed the importance of NGN and its architecture. KEYWORDSNext Generation Network, ARPU, TDM, IMS, FMC.
