Abstract

EPRI has developed a standard equipment breakdown structure and coding for components in combustion turbine or combined-cycle generation units. This standardized listing and accompanying diskette can be used for indexing equipment history files, as a basis for a more detailed equipment capitalization, or to facilitate information sharing on equipment reliability problems. Overall, this EPRI project establishes the basis for accurately monitoring the availability and reliability of combined-cycle plants at all equipment levels.
