Abstract

Artemia salina is a wide temperature and salt-tolerant aquatic organism.Because it is sensitive to poison, small and easy to acquire and cultivate,Artemia salina is often used as bioassay organism to detect the toxicities of pollutants. In this paper, the toxicities of ten pesticides to Artemia nauplii were studied, and its feasibility as a screening model for insecticidal activity was explored.Simultaneously, the impacts of environmental factors on Artemia nauplii bioassay methods were analysed.
