Development and application of tunnel construction management system

Abstract

The objective of this study is the establishment of a tunnel construction management system applicable to mountain tunnels, aimed at an increase in efficiency of tunnel construction support. To that end, a tunnel constructio support tool consisting of document retrieval system and other systems was developed. Based on these systems, an ideal form of new tunnel information network was studied, and the effectiveness of the tunneling support system was verified through its application in the actual construction of a mountain tunnel.
