Abstract
The essential oil of the air parts of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis. L) coming from various areas of Algeria was analysed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography coupled with the mass spectrometry (GC/MS). One observes qualitative and quantitative differences which make it possible to classify of oils by chemical groups.
