Abstract
The corn earworm, Heliothis zea (Boddie), and the tobacco budworm, Heliothis virescens (Fabricius), have several host plants in common, including cotton and tobacco. At times, therefore, the eggs and larvae of both species are found on the same plant, and pupae of both species occur together in the soil.
