最近10年間に, 当科にて放射線治療を施行した原発性肺癌419例のうち, 6例に気胸が発生した.組織型は, 類表皮癌3例, 腺癌1例, 小細胞癌2例であった.原発部位では, 上葉に発生したものに多くみられた.照射中に発生した2例は, 無気肺の改善とともにみられた.照射後に発生した4例は, 肺線維症のみられたものや, 化学療法施行例などであった.外科的治療は, いずれも不要であり, 予後への影響も認められなかった.
