This paper deals with the performance of Vertical climb of rocket in case of decreasing gravity, in contrast to the usually adopted assumption of constant one. Neglecting the air resistance, the calculations were made for the cases of constant pulling acceleration and constant rate of ejection. The former gives simple result capable to see into the altitude for the liberation speed. For both cases, charts showing the necessary amounts of fuel to attain the liberation speed were given.
