Abstract

This paper deals with a numerical simulation and the flow visualization for the interaction of several parallel jets in two-dimensional rectangular channel. Particularly, a numerical calculation and flow visualization for dual parallel jets and triple parallel jets issuing from two-dimensional quadrant nozzeles were carried out for ranging of laminar flow. A numerical calculation based on Navier-stokes equation was calculated by a up-wind difference method. The flow visualization was visualized by dye injection. The effect of the velocity and the flow rate on the interaction of parallel jets were examind concretely by the calculation and visualization. The results of study have proved that interaction of the parallel flow for the laminar flow is affected by the velocity or the flow rate.
