Abstract
Twenty-four intra-articular fractures of the calcaneus in 23 patients were operated on by Sclamberg operation (1988) with some modification of operative method and aftertreatment for the past 2 years.The method of operation was simple and indicated in all types of intra-articular fracture of the calcaneus, early movement of the ankle and early weight bearing could be allowed, and the results obtained were excellent.The method of operation and the aftertreatment were presented in detail with cases illustration.
