Abstract

Wind tunnel studies on the gust response of a transport airplane were carried out. The effect of the position of center of gravity of the airplane on the normal acceleration response was examined. According to the results, the root mean square values of the normal acceleration of the transport airplane in turbulent air are only slightly affected by the position of its center of gravity.
