Spatial differentiation of land use structure in Jiangsu Province.

Adopting the method of Least Square Error,this paper analyes the land use structure characteristic of each county or city in Jiangsu Province.Based on the results,Jiangsu Province can be divided into seven land use structure types.The first one is the type with the balanced dominant land use types of arable land and unused land,the second one is the type with the dominant land use type of arable land supplemented by construction land,the third one is the type with the balanced dominant land use types of arable land,construction land and unused land,the fourth one is the type with the dominant land use type of arable land supplemented by construction land and other agricultural land,the fifth one is the type with the dominant land use type of arable land supplemented by construction land and unused land,the sixth one is the proportional type with the dominant land use types of arable land and construction land,the seventh one is the proportional type with the dominant land use type of arable land.Lastly,it presents the distribution characteristics and general situation of land use structure status respectively,which offers some bases for making land use strategies,sustainable land use,coordinating the harmonious development among regions as well as social economy and ecology.
