Endosulfan Residues in/on Tomato and Brinjal Fruits

Abstract

Waiting period of endosulfan was worked out for tomato and brinjal fruits at Anand, middle Gujarat under field condition by spraying 35 EC 0.07%. The initial deposit of 9.42 and 4.44 μg g−1 reached below the tolerance limit of 2.0 μg g−1 for both tomato and brinjal fruits, in 7 and 1 days’ respectively. The half-life values for tomato and brinjal fruits were 3.6 and 1.9 days, respectively.
