Abstract

The partial chemical components and sensory indexes of 78 samples from different flue-cured tobacco planting areas in Yibin city were analyzed to provide the theoretical basis for improvement of flue-cured tobacco quality and availability. The results showed that the chemical components of tested samples were in a suitable range, there was significant correlation between tobacco leaf position and chemical components, the tobacco leaf position had great effect on sensory quality, the variation of sensory quality of tobacco leaves with different leaf position was difference and the variation of sensory quality of upper leaves was great, and there were no significant correlation between chemical components and sensory quality of leaves with different leaf position.
