The Application of Situational Teaching Method in China’s Middle School English Teaching

Abstract

The Situational Teaching Method in English teaching is a useful teaching method.This method emphasizes the integration of the dynamic process and the life situation,pays great attention to students’ understanding of life and their ability development in an active process,and stimulates their interest from various aspects.In this thesis,by analyzing the theory,function,techniques and application of Situational Teaching Method,I draw the conclusion that Situational Teaching Method is an effective teaching method to improve English education in Chinese middle school.
