Abstract
The influence of times of soing on growth, yield and seed quality of coriander was investigated on five dates of sowing viz. 25th October, 5th November, 25th November, 5th December to determine the optimum time of sowing for seed coriander, Results revealed that the maximum plant height, number of branches per plant, number of umbel per plant, number of seeds per umbel, seed yield, weight of 100 seeds, viable seed percentage and vigour index of seeds are recorded with the seed sown on 5th November. Whereas maximum days taken to first flowering and harvesting was observed with early sowing of seeds and minimum days taken with late sowing.
