Abstract

The residue behaviour of lindane, endosulfan, chlorpyrifos, quinalphos and dimethoate was evaluated on mustard crop. The results showed that lindane dissipated fastest amongst all followed by endosulfan, chlorpyrifos and dimethoate. Quinalphos dissipated slowly but left no significant residues in harvest grains. The half life of the insecticides were between 4 to 7 days.
