Abstract

Field experiments were conducted during winter seasons of 1991–92 and 1992–93 at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. During both the years, tribenuron at 15 g/ha, f1uroxypyr at 300 g/ha and 2,4-D at 500 g/ha alone reduced the population of Chenopodium album and Lathyrus aphaca at 60 and 90 days after sowing over weedy check. Tank mixture of fluroxypyr+chlortoluronat 150+750 g/ha or 2,4-D+chlortoluron at 500+750g/ha or tribenuron+chIortoluron at 10+750 g/ha controlled grassy and broad leaf weeds significantly during both the years resulting in higher grain yield of wheat.
