Abstract
The paper takes the evaluation of the regional innovation efficiency as the research object. By analysis, the paper believes that the super efficiency data envelopment model is more suitable for the evaluation of the regional innovation efficiency than the general data envelopment model and the SE-DEA model is used. By constructing the input system and the output system, 30 provinces of China is evaluated as the object. The result shows that there is clear difference for the regional innovation efficiency of China and the statistical result supports the conclusion that the eastern part of China is the most effective and the western part of China is the least effective. The research result shows the scientific of the model.
