Abstract
Business managers are often 'too busy' to understand and practise Human Resource management. This form of management applies the same basic principles to the human resource as used with capital, material and technological resources. Human Resource Management is explained in detail and changes in management practice and organizational structure are suggested. The changing nature of the human resource in Australia is indicated with particular reference to youth and female employees. An introduction is given to Human Resource Accounting and the non-financial aspects of this form of Resource Management.
