Abstract
One of the main difficulties that company officers grapple with on the regulatory front is the plethora of legislative instruments imposing personal liability as a result of a corporate breach. I've reported here before on our relief that reform may be on the agenda with the Federal Government indicating support for the continuation of the Treasury review of sanctions in corporate law and a willingness to work with the states to rationalise state and federal laws to achieve a consistent response to officers' liability.
