Abstract
SUMMARYGestalt Therapy is a modern method of psychoterapy, originated by Dr. Frederick S. Perls. Because of the many misunderstandings about this new school, I have tried to show in which specific ways the gestalt method differs from more traditional forms of psychoterapy. Gestalt Therapy may be defined as an existential application of the gestalt psychological principles.
