Abstract
A field experiment was conducted on the farmer's field of Rawatsar & Sangria blocks of Hanumangarh and Sadulshahar & Kaluwala blocks of Sriganganagar districts under agro-climatic Zone Ib for three consecutive years during 2006–07 to 2008–09. The treatments comprising of the 3 cluster-bean based cropping system treatments (Cluster-bean-Mustard, Cluster-bean –wheat and Cluster-beanr-Gram). The maximum gross return (Rs 77697/ha), net return (Rs 60497/ha), Water use and water expense efficiency was recorded under cluster bean-wheat crop sequence, which were significantly superior over cluster bean-mustard and cluster bean-gram. The B: C (3.50) was also recorded higher in this crop rotation then other rotations tested in the study.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
