Abstract

Spray of emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 10g a.i./ha was most effective treatment with 89.5% reduction in larval population followed by rynaxypyr 20 SC @ 25g a.i./ha (78.8%). The remaining treatments, emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 7g a.i./ha (74.5%), rynaxypyr 20 SC @ 20g a.i./ha (58.0%), indoxacarb 14.5 SC @ 60g a.i./ha (54.5%), indoxacarb 14.5 SC @ 50g a.i./ha (40.0%), dimethoate 30 EC @ 500 ml/ha (32.6%) and prophenophos 50 EC @ 250 ml/ha (22.6%) were found effective and significantly superior over untreated control.
