Abstract
The potential of nuclear power is reviewed. Discussion is given on fuel design, economic balance, and the efforts in the field of nuclear power by both the British and the United States. The selection of the type of fuel for a series of nuclear power stations involves striking a balance between increasing the cost of the fuel and reducing the capital cost of the reactor. (P.C.H.)
