Abstract
Two years' field experiment, to study the performance of different herbiddes against Phlaris minor in wheat, were conducted at Regional Research Station, Kamal during 1994–95 and 1995–96. Isoproturon 1000 g/ha, diclofop 880 g/ha, tralkoxydim 500 g/ha and tralkoxydim+oxyfluorfen 500+6.3 g/ha provided satisfactory control of P. millor in wheat. Consequent upon good weed control, the grain yield in these treatments was near or at par to weed free plot and higher with a margin of 32% than weedy check. The treatment of isoproturon+diclofop (1:1) 1000 g/ha also resulted in satisfactory weed control and grain yield of wheat.
