Abstract
[Objective] The aim was to determine total flavonoids in Eremurus chinens and study its antioxidant.[Method] The total flavonoids in E.chinens were extracted by volume fraction of 80% ethanol and using ultrasonic extraction technology. The content was determined by spectrophotometric method. And the removal effect of flavonoids on superoxide radical, hydroxyl radical was studied.[Result] The content of flavonoids in E.chinens was 0.742 5%.With the increasing of flavonoids, the removal effect on free radical became increasingly obvious. When concentration of total flavonoid is 9.791×10-4 mg/ml,the scavenging rate on superoxide radical was highest,up to 48.91%;when concentration is 0.009 9 mg/ml,the scavenging rate on hydroxyl radical was highest,up to 83.76%.[Conclusion] Total flavonoid in E.chinens has removal effect on superoxide radical and hydroxyl radical.
