Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during summer season of 2008 to 2010 at All India Coordinate Research Project on Summer Groundnut at Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth Rahuri. Application of pre-emergence herbicide Pendimethalin (Stomp 30 EC) 1.00 kg a.i/ha followed by Quizolofop ethyl (Turga super 5 EC) 50 9 a.i/ha 20 days after sowing recorded significantly maximum dry pod (3058 kg/ha). Dry haulm (4515 kg/ha) and kernel yield (1960 kg/ha) and lowest weed count number (10), weed dry matter (1.81 q/ha), weed index (14.78%) with higher weed control efficiency (85.81%).
