Abstract
A survey of 29 Anab-e-Shahi vineyards around Hyderabad was conducted to work out the existing major nutrient interactions by means of leaf analysis. The survey has revealed that high nitrogen levels were associated with the higher levels of phosphorus and magnesium, but with lower levels of calcium in the leaves. Phosphorus varied directly with magnesium. Similarly increasing levels of calcium were associated with the increased magnesium contents in the leaves. The negative correlation of leaf blade calcium with petiole nitrogen was more prominent than its positive correlation with leaf blade calcium. Petiole nitrogen had more influence than the leaf blade nitrogen on leaf blade magnesium.
