THE LONGIDORIDAE (NEMATODA) IN THE VINEYARDS OF THE PROVINCE OF TRIESTE

Abstract

A nematode survey was carried out, in the Province of Trieste to ascertain geographic distribution and specific composition of Longidoridae in the vineyards. An undetermined species of Longidorus and four species of Xiphinema: X. histriae Lamberti, Coiro et Agostinelli, X. index Thorne et Allen, X. pachtaicum (Tulaganov) Kirjanova and X. taylori Lamberti, Ciancio, Agostinelli et Coiro were found. The biometric characters of the encountered species are provided.
