Abstract

Abstract Atlantic Richfield Indonesia, Inc has been successfully operating the Ardjuna Natural Gas processing facility since September, 1976. Both the crude oil and its associated gas from the Ardjuna field is gathered and processed at an NGL plant located offshore in the North West Java Sea. Crude oil is stabilized and exported from a floating storage barge; the associated gas is processed for recovery. of LPG which is exported from the world's first concrete LPG storage barge; and residue gas is pipelined onshore for domestic consumption in Indonesia. This paper describes the operation of this completely self contained, offshore oil and gas recovery operation.
