Abstract
Nine medicinal plants had been evaluated for their antifeedant activity coupled with feeding inhibitation and effects on growth and development of Spodoptera litura (F.). These studies done with acetone extracts of the plants had revealed that all the extracts significantly influenced the S. litura larvae. A. zeylanica I. coccinea and B. monnieri had profound influence on the feeding and growth and development.
