Abstract
Evaluation of spray schedules of insecticides and botanicals against insects and mite of chilli when undertaken in kharif, it was observed that NSKE 5%, trizophos 40 EC @ 25 ml/10 L, dicofol 18.5 EC @ 15 ml/10 L and acetamiprid 20 SP 1g/10 L of water) at 10 days interval registered the lowest population of thrips, whitefly and mite at three and seven day after spray. The intensity of leaf curls was also lowest (2.08, 3.24 and 5.15% at 50, 75 and 100 days after transplanting, respectively). This spray schedule also found to be with lowest fruit damage (2.59%) and highest green chilli yield (6342 kg/ha). At harvest residues of these were found below maximum residue limit.
