Study on the protection of the biodiversity of wetland in Shanxi Province

There are various types of wetlands of 413 474 hm~(2) in Shanxi province, including river mouth wetland, river wetland, lake wetland, reservoir wetland, mire and meadow wetland. They are distributed on the river valleys, lakes and reservoirs and their around regions. The wetlands in Shanxi province are rich in biodiversity, including animal over 500 species, plant 1 230 species, vegetational form 70 formations. On the base, the strategies for biodiversity protection of wetlands in Shanxi province are advanced.
