Abstract

Objective:To investigate the infection status, clinical distribution,drug-resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii, and the difference on drug-resistance rates of strains from different specimens. Methods: The pathogens were identified according to The national clinical test procedures. The antimicrobial susceptibility test was performed by K-B method. Results: There were 352 Acinetobacter baumannii strains separated from sputum or throat swab among the total 437 strains. For the past years, the infection rate of Acinetobacter baumannii was on the rise.Acinetobacter baumannii is the major pathogen at present. It was found that the drug-resistant rate of Acinetobacter baumannii was on the rise year by year according to the results of antimicrobial susceptibility test. Conclusion: The drug-resistant rate of Acinetobacter baumannii was on the rise.
