Abstract
The integrated pest management in chickpea resulted in minimum number of Helicoverpa larvae (0.56/m row) as compared to non-IPM (1.27/m row) and pod damage was 5.58 and 14.39 per cent, respectively. The natural enemies population was more in IPM than non-IPM. The parasitization of Helicoverpa larvae by Campoletes chlorideae and tachnid fly was 5.61 per cent and 1.54 per cent in IPM and 3.22 per cent and 0.89 per cent in non-IPM, respectively. The yield in IPM (9.32 q/ha) was higher than non-IPM (7.26 q/ha). The IPM practices increased the net profit by Rs. 6070/ha.
