Abstract
This paper designed a index system for urban-rural integration to assess the degree of urban-rural integration in Suzhou.Then,analytic hierarchy process(AHP) was used to calculate the level of the Suzhou's urban and rural integration.As a result,the level of the Suzhou’s urban and rural integration was higher and had steadily improving trend,it was the stage of accelerating and enhancing the integration of urban and rural during 2003 to 2004;the steady development of urban and rural integration was during 2005 to 2008.At the present,the level of the Suzhou's urban and rural integration has been from the basic co-ordination stage to the overall coordination stage.
