Abstract
The study was conducted in the field of Entomology section, College of Agriculture, Nagpur, during the year 2011–2012. There were nine treatments viz., NSE 5%, acetamiprid 20 SP 0.008%, fipronil 5 SC 0.001%, spinosad 45 SC 0.01%, imidacloprid 17.8 SL 0.004%, thiamethoxam 25 WG 0.003%, Karanj oil 0.5%, Karanj oil 1.0% and control, applied twice at fortnightly interval commencing from 20 days after transplanting. All treatments were significantly superior over control. Spinosad 45SC 0.01% was found as most effective treatment followed by acetamiprid 0.008%, NSK 0.5% and Thiamethoxam 25WG 0.003%.
