Abstract

Seed of french bean cv. Pusa Parvati were soaked in 0, 125 and 250 μg/ml solutions of carbofuran, ebuphos, triazophos and phenamiphos for 6 or 12 hours. Soaking at lowest rate for even 6 h resulted in reduced galling, larval penetration and multiplication of Meloidogyne incognita. Triazophos was the most effective chemical followed by phenamiphos which was significantly more effective than ebuphos and carbofuran.
