Abstract

Among the different molecules, imidacloprid 200 SL @ 5.0 ml/l and acetamiprid 20 SP @ 0.2 g/l were the most effective against aphids, and leaf hopper. The next best treatment was spinosad 45 SC @ 0.1 ml/l. On the contrary, spinosad 45 SC @ 0.1 ml/l was most effective against thrips found on par with imidacloprid 200 SL @ 0.5 ml/l and acetamiprid 20 SP @ 0.2 g/l. The higher good fruit yield was recorded in emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.2 g/l (47.02 q/ha). The next effective treatments included spinosad 45 SC @ 0.1 ml/l (45.94 q/ha) and indoxacarb 14.5 SC @ 0.3 ml/l (43.03 q/ha). Among different newer molecules, emamectin benzoate 5 SG @ 0.2 g/l, spinosad 45 SC @ 0.1 ml/l and acetamiprid 20 SP 0.2 g/l were found as safe as untreated control to natural enemies.
