Abstract

The DNA diversity of 8 mink breeds (n=488) was determined using 20 microsatellite markers and analyzed statistically. Allete frequency, heterozygosity value (H),polymorphism information content (PIC),Nei′s distance were calculated. Dendrogram was constructed using the Neighbor-Joining methods. The polymorphism information content and mean heterozygosity value are between 0.484 6—0.877 5 and 0.445 8—0.491 5 respectively. According to Ds and Da genetic distance,we made the NJ cluster respectively. Compared between the 2 dendrograms,Silverblue mink and Pearl mink were of the same group,Regal White mink and Danish mink were of the same group. The results indicated that the genetic diversity was rich among mink and the genetic differentiation in its sub-populations was relatively low.
