Abstract
The present investigation was carried out in order to study combining ability for forage attributes in sorghum. The experimental material included thirty-six genotypes including 8 parents and their twenty-right crosses generated in diallel fashion (without reciprocals). Analysis of variance for combining ability revealed that mean square due to GCA and SCA were significant for all the traits in all the environments. Various parents/crosses having good combining ability have been identified for dry fodder, green fodder and grain yield.
