Abstract
Effect of time and intensity of pruning on fruiting of Sharad seedless grapes were studied during 2010 to 2012. The Vines were pruned seven times during 15th July to 15th October at an interval of 15 days with three pruning intensities (4, 6 and 8 buds/cane). Maximum TSS and total and reducing sugars were recorded when the pruning was done on 15th September. As regards to intensity of pruning, maximum TSS, total sugars and reducing sugars were observed in the treatment of either 4 or 6 buds/cane.
